What is Kickstarter?
Kickstarter is a launchpad for creators to raise funds for the initial production of their invention. Backers (that’s you!) can support the creator by pre-ordering the product at a discounted price.

What does it mean to back a project (pledge)?
When you back a project, you’re pre-ordering the product. That means you’ll get it once it’s produced. Besides getting the product itself, you’re also joining a community. Follow along the production process, take part in important surveys and give the creator valuable feedback.

When will I get my pre-order?
The ‘At the Table’ Playing Cards are set to ship by February 2023. Depending on your location, you’ll get them sometime between mid-February and the end of March 2023. Please note that this is an estimate, as you’re pre-ordering the product and production delays could arise.

Why you'll love your ‘At the Table’ Playing Cards
Every single deck is made up of over 52 unique artworks, each card celebrating the tables we gather around through real stories submitted by fellow backers of the project. By collecting these cards, you too are participating in a year-long endeavor that ultimately ends with PLAY. Share a deck with your friends and family, look through each of the stunning illustrations, and reflect on your own experiences around the table. The diverse traditions and tales represented are sure to spark feelings of nostalgia, wonder, and cultural curiosity. Most importantly, these cards are a catalyst to create new memories connecting with those around you.

What is the difference between the PLAY deck and the ART deck?
The PLAY and ART decks were created to serve different purposes. The ART deck will be produced with high end finishes like embossing, foiling on the cards and tuck case, gilding of the card edges, and at a limited quantity of 1000, creating a fine art object and collectors item to cherish for a lifetime. The PLAY deck is the ART deck’s heartier companion meant for heavier use, allowing collectors to have a version of the deck they feel confident handling. At the core of this project are memories shared around the table, so it is crucial that a version of the deck exists that facilitates new moments of laughter and connection.

Why support the Kickstarter instead of waiting for the cards to hit the Arynlei storefront?
The most valuable reason to support the Kickstarter is to guarantee access to limited edition items, such as the ART deck (limit 1000), and limited edition art prints (limit 100). It is unlikely these items will still be available in a few months, so better support the Kickstarter now to make sure you can get exactly what you’re looking for. It goes without saying, if you miss out on the Kickstarter, you miss out on the stretch goal rewards. And we’re SO CLOSE to unlocking that extra deck! Lastly, items that make it to the storefront will be subject to higher retail pricing as well as a bump in shipping price. A lot of factors contribute to this, but the bottom line is that the best deal is right now, only on Kickstarter.

What are Stretch Goals?
Stretch Goals are funding goals above the initial amount it would take to launch the project. As the project gets more and more backers, the fees associated with manufacturing go down, allowing the reinvestment of those raised funds into the project to make the rewards even better! We’ve already reached 250% of funding, unlocking the first two stretch goals - a free sticker pack in every order and custom packaging! The final goal is a free PLAY deck added to every pledge at 300% funding. Help the project reach its stretch goals by sharing this Kickstarter page with your friends and family!

Last Updated At: 07/03/23 | See Kickstarter UpdateWhat is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
